The 4-14 Anorak is called 'CAT' and was inspired by the Counter Assault Team (C.A.T.), a specialised tactical unit of the United States Secret Service that provides tactical support to the Presidential Protection Division to protect the President of the United States. The choice of this evocative name derives from the fact that its use will not only be to "protect" the wearer from the cold and wind, but also as an excellent "tactical support" thanks to the possibility of carrying specific equipment and keeping them hidden. All this thanks to the frontal pocket characterised by the "Pouch Attachment Ladder System" (P.A.L.S.), which can be integrated both with "standard utility pouches" and with our #pannels4-14 specifically designed to support different specific configurations. The CAT Anorak is a jacket that can be worn as the last layer of clothing. The main (outer) fabric is micro rip-stop nylon with DWR treatment, while the inner lining is micro fleece. On the upper part there is a hood, with a semi-rigid visor, and on the inside it is lined with mesh to prevent direct contact with the body. On the sleeves there are two pockets surmounted by Velcro patches (shoulder height), while the lower part of the torso features a pocket with double access (RIGHT/LEFT) which, being lined in micro-fleece, offers the opportunity for a "hand warmer". In the rear-lower part there is a further pocket with double access, useful for stowing light poncho-tents or vice versa used as a dump pouch. The central front area is the real revolution of our Anorak. CAT stands out from any other anorak because of its marsupial pocket designed to be opened quickly thanks to a larger grip and above all two no-stop sliders that guarantee fast sliding. Inside are three Pouch Attachment Ladder System straps, topped with Velcro, designed to configure the chest to the required set-up. Although the possible set-ups are endless, we have created four panels that can be attached with Velcro and that meet the most common needs: Pistol Panel, Rifle Panel, Med Panel, Breacher Panel. Finally, the CAT Anorak can be folded up to allow it to be carried in bags or wherever it is needed.
